Inner voices
Doubtful mindsets
The angst of the unfamiliar
It not about why it won’t work,
But how it will!
A shift in the psyche!

This weekend I struggled
I didn’t want it to be real
I wanted the nightmare from three months ago
to go back where it came from

Watching the water
Gazing through the clouds
Taking in the greenery
Loud chirping chimes

Golden voices, inner peace
Silence burdens the heart
To speak remains a privilege
Releasing sound waves to the music in my soul

Tough times, a bunch of tears
Stretched to discomfort
Working through fears
No one thing happens without a reason…..

Soaked in some sunshine today
Light gleaming
Shades of melanin glowing
The sweetest caramel
Paired with a toffee goddess
Vitamin D well deserved
Absorbing nature’s essence

The infamous call from the night before,
Unprecedented pain,
Urges of blame,
A hurt soo deep inside,
Shattering organs,
